Create a deep-tech company based on CSEM technology.
CSEM’s Spin-off Program gives selected entrepreneurs a temporary, salary-supported fellowship to turn CSEM technology, expertise, or know-how into a new deep-tech company. For up to two years, you work at CSEM with our experts to develop the technology, build the business case, and prepare the launch of an independent CSEM spin-off. This is not a permanent CSEM role. The goal is to move from fellowship to company creation.

How to apply
1. Check your fit
See whether your profile, idea, and connection to CSEM technology match the program.
2. Send your application
Click “Apply” to submit your application. Your application should be no more than five pages in total. See the FAQ for details. Applications are closed. Check back in 2027 for updates.
3. Application review
CSEM reviews your innovation potential, technology fit, business potential, and founder profile.
4. Pitch and interviews
Shortlisted applicants present their idea and meet the selection committee.
5. Join CSEM
Selected entrepreneurs join CSEM through a temporary, salary-supported fellowship.
6. Build the spin-off case
You work with CSEM teams to develop the technology, business case, and launch roadmap. The fellowship is designed to prepare the creation of an independent CSEM spin-off.
